At DocuMask, your privacy is our top priority. Our application is designed with a "Privacy First" philosophy, ensuring that your sensitive documents and data never leave your device.

1. Information Collection and Use

DocuMask does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All document scanning, PII (Personally Identifiable Information) detection, and redaction processes are performed strictly on-device using Apple's secure frameworks.
Your documents are never uploaded to any cloud server or third-party service for processing.

2. Document Access

DocuMask requires access to your files (PDFs/Images) only during the active redaction session. We do not store copies of your original or redacted documents within the app beyond what is necessary for functional processing.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use standard Apple services to facilitate the app's functionality:

Apple App Store & StoreKit: To handle subscriptions and in-app purchases. Apple provides us with transaction identifiers, but no personal identity or payment details are shared with us.
On-Device AI Models: We use Apple's native APIs for text recognition and entity detection. This data is processed locally and is not shared with Apple or any other third party.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Payments are processed securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for more information on how they handle your payment data.

5. Security

Because all processing is 100% offline, your data is protected by the native security features of your iOS device.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date."
